17 April 2025From boxtextile to reusable bactextile
After launching its BoxTextile in 2019, CEPOVETT is continuing its approach to recycling its customers' professional clothing, with a new solution tailored to smaller volumes.
The company has come up with a concept for reusable collection bins of around 100 litres (80 x 40 x 40 cm), which are easier to store in closed collection areas - e.g. small and medium-sized shops, particularly in town centres - to meet the problems of restricted space and storage, particularly in the retail sector, which is made up of diffuse sales outlets.
These reusable textile bins complement the BoxTextile and extend the range of collection tools available to customers as part of the CEPOVETT recycling programme deployed by the Cepovett Safety, Oxbridge and Lafont brands. For example, in 2024, a large-scale textile recycling operation was implemented with TOTAL ENERGIES, in parallel with the roll-out of a new identity collection in its service station network. Nearly 8 tonnes of clothing were recovered from the network's largest service stations, then sorted and recycled into industrial shredding and solid recovered fuel (SRF).
