Cepovett Group at the forefront of standardized fabric masks and hospital equipment production
At a time of global health crisis that affects all our lives, the word "safety" in the workplace takes on its full meaning, especially for those professionals who are on the front line - the carers, of course, but also all the workers who continue to keep the country's vital sectors running. This is why, aware of our pivotal role as an expert in protective equipment and a major player in the market for prevention in the workplace, we are mobilizing our industrial and technological capacity to supply alternative masks for non-health use.
In collaboration with the Institut français du textile-habillement (IFTH) and the Direction générale de l'armement (DGA), and in coordination with La Facim (industrial technology base for defense and security equipment)*, we have developed and certified textile barrier masks for non-health use (C-AIR masks, reference UNSC2). Our C-AIR masks are designed for people in the workplace who have occasional contact with other people, and offer the following benefits:
- Very good breathability and filtration performance weight ratio (89%)
- Antibacterial properties
- Comfort, lightness and ergonomics thanks to 100% mesh fabric
In addition, our Lafont brand, a specialist in work clothing since 1844, is mobilized to provide equipment such as gowns, tunics, chasubles and pants for staff working in hospital wards, who are particularly exposed to the coronavirus.
Our employees have set up teleworking arrangements to ensure the continuity of the Group's activities, while protecting their health and that of their families.
Our logistics capacity, delivery service and e-commerce site are fully operational to guarantee quality service in the safest possible conditions.
