Epsilon and Bôndy, solidarity reforestation partners

For the past 6 years, Epsilon/CEPOVETT has been carrying out an ambitious reforestation programme near its textile industrial site in Madagascar, planting almost 40,000 trees per year. Through a contributory approach involving its employees and customers, the company has created its own nurseries and has raised awareness of biodiversity issues throughout its ecosystem.

In 2020, this approach was ramped up with the arrival of a new partner: the social company Bôndy. This Madagascan reforestation operator aims to large-scale combine agroforestry and permaculture to tackle deforestation in Madagascar by creating a synergy of initiatives with the population. It vowed to plant 1,000,000 trees by a given deadline. Together with the initiatives already in place, this partnership between Bôndy and Epsilon will boost reforestation in Madagascar.
