In order to foster a closer relationship between humans and animals, CEPOVETT has adopted 5 hens. The eggs from this chicken coop, which is run entirely by employees, are used locally. Having this chicken coop at the company raises staff awareness of food waste and waste management. Like in schools or villages, the organic waste produced by business is given to the hens.
These omnivorous birds eat nearly 150 kg of organic waste per year and devour vegetable garden waste (carrot tops, pea pods, etc.). The connected chicken coop is also designed to promote staff bonding. It is combined with a mobile web app for monitoring all maintenance data, so the coop can be controlled remotely.
