Accompanying its suppliers on the road to decarbonisation throughout the value chain is a strategic challenge for CEPOVETT.
At a time when the carbon footprint of a company's activities is more than 90% dependent on its suppliers, there is an urgent need to identify the key players and suggest energy improvement plans and other low-carbon actions to its stakeholders.
The CEPOVETT group encourages its suppliers to do the right thing for the planet and for their competitiveness, in particular by promoting energy efficiency and raising awareness of the need to reduce carbon emissions.
This is the case, for example, with its industrial partner Tenthorey, an industrial and heritage company based in the Vosges since 1906, which has always worked for pragmatic energy management. To date, Tenthorey has built and operates 2 hydroelectric power stations on its territory, for its own industrial needs, and continues to innovate with the installation of 22 motorised solar shading systems with the aim of producing 25% of the electricity consumed. It's a virtuous initiative to help decarbonise its industrial processes.
