As CEPOVETT is constantly striving to promote integrating recycled materials in its customer collections, the Company has created a new 65% recycled polyester and 35% BCI cotton shirt reference for the airline Air France.
With around 46,000 shirts made every year, this is one of the most iconic and best-selling pieces in the collection. Its recycled version has zero effect on wearers as quality and comfort remain unchanged. However, perceived value is greater as the product is ethical and manufactured using recycled raw materials. As polyester comes from recycled plastic bottles, it takes almost 10 bottles to make one shirt. This collection was imagined to withstand the test of time, hand-in-hand with our partner Air France. It is on a par with the airline's circular economy vision and goals. Air France is committed to tackling waste and endeavours to replace virgin materials with recycled ones and to recycle as many of its products as possible: employees' uniforms are in line with this.
