In 2022, CEPOVETT Group intends to generalize circular clothing, made from regenerated fabrics, in its collections. Feedback from various pilot projects, tested since 2015 on different recycled materials, has led the company to now ramp up its circular economy initiative and to conclude a strategic partnership with the French-Belgian weaver UTEXBEL. This cooperation means 100% circular workwear can now be produced from recycled materials in an industrial way and at economically acceptable costs. These regenerated fabrics, made from recycled cotton and polyester, will be gradually integrated in CEPOVETT Group brands' new collections.
European weaver-spinner UTEXBEL boasts historic professional technical fabric know how. It enjoys fully-integrated fromyarn-to-weaving production and ensures the reliability of its supplies from post-consumer recycled material reserves. This partnership paves the way for popularizing circular workwear by lowering costs and, in turn, making it accessible to as many people as possible.
