In the spring of 2020, in the midst of the health crisis, CEPOVETT mobilized the industrial and technological capacity of its French, Tunisian and Madagascan workshops to supply alternative grade 1 masks. Pursuant to the interministerial information note of 29 March 2020, in collaboration with the IFTH (French Textile & Apparel Institute) and the DGA (French Defence Procurement Agency), the Group created textile protection masks for non-sanitary use intended to prevent droplets of saliva being expelled into the air towards a third party.
Relying on the expertise of its integrated design office and its know-how in the field of protective equipment, CEPOVETT went on to develop its production to produce masks that comply with the new regulatory requirements related to the different variants of coronavirus. As such, the Group reasserted its role as a key player in the prevention-at-work market.
