Since 1876, when it was founded, Lancel has embodied French luxury and know-how. If the brand first made a name for itself with its pipes and accessories for smokers, it was with leather goods and travel that it made its mark with emblematic pieces such as the Kangaroo suitcase, the Trotteur bag, the 1st flirt bag, and of course, in 1987, the famous Elsa bucket bag.
Since 2014, the company has been in the midst of a transformation and renewal, enjoying great success in women's leather goods, notably with the creation of the Charlie bag, the Le Huit bag and the Max bag. Lancel is also a key player in luggage, gifts and men's leather goods.
The brand just celebrated its 140th anniversary in 2016. CEPOVETT Group has partnered with the legendary brand to dress its staff, integrating the values and spirit as well as the aesthetics of the House in this new collection of uniforms. By entrusting CEPOVETT Group with the production of its new uniform collection, Lancel is affirming its commitment to responsible textile manufacturing. The latter includes the production of an apron made of hemp, recycled polyester and leather, which is worn during personalization ceremonies in the shop. The design as well as the approach to collect and recycle our brand image outfits are initiatives that are totally in keeping with Orange's environmental challenges. We wish to continue to develop the reuse of our clothing and, at the same time, make our employees aware of circular economy principles.
Given the decisive environmental challenges at hand for the coming decades, bringing together the creations of our strategic suppliers, our facilities and our laboratory means combining the best current technical know-how to make the clothing sector a very high added value for our customers. By embracing talents and, at the same time, optimizing flows, Cepovett has managed to harmonize costs, quality and ethics.
The forest area in Madagascar is decreasing, even though a lot of money has been spent on reforestation since 1960. Today, we wish to revolutionize the way reforestation is carried out in Madagascar. Instead of a lot of unnecessary reforestation, smaller reforestation projects will be carried out with a tangible impact. Our challenge is to find land for our plantations, it's a huge job to convince farmers to reforest their land.

We develop solutions tailored to your working environment, from weatherproof, high-visibility, multi-risk clothing to workwear, on a par with the #PositiveImpact label values. This novel products offer professionals protection, comfort and ethics, while flying high the Company's values.

New, state-of-the-art IT tools will enhance customer relations and, at the same time, will make employees' work easier, as such enabling them to focus on high added value tasks and improve the business's overall performance.

“Care of SNCF uniforms, in particular Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a key issue from a regulatory, economic and staff welfare perspective. Professional cleaning is preferred as it ensures that outfits are safely cleaned given the often high levels of dirt and grime. “Large companies may outsource up to 80% of their business to other companies, particularly SMEs. For years, their relationships with suppliers were built largely on mistrust and a ‘zero sum’ mentality, driven solely by purchase prices. Nowadays, the role of CSR in influencing larger companies’ procurement decisions has gradually instilled trust in its relationships with SMEs, and not before time!”
