As in other industrial sectors, Lean management also applies to the textile sector. The aim is to do more, faster and better, while encouraging employee participation in the fight against waste and eliminating anything that produces "non-value added". Lean management is intended to be virtuous with the employees, the challenge of the approach is to improve working conditions while increasing productivity.
At the EPSILON CEPOVETT Group manufacturing site in Madagascar, good practices are tested every day in the field: improving the comfort and ergonomics of workstations, multi-skilling the workforce, eliminating unnecessary travel, optimising material flows, etc.

"In our factory in Madagascar, our industrial organisation is based on the optimisation of processes and the behaviour of our operators at all stages of the production chain. This approach, inspired by Lean management, is based on empowering employees to eliminate all waste, both in terms of materials and unnecessary time."
